Ask what shipping costs before you order. Nhut Tailor on Lê Thánh Tôn charges extra for shipping abroad, DUAN Tailor ships for a fee, and one reviewer called VestonDep's fee to the US reasonable. Allow time for the parcel: a dress from TuyetLan Orchids Tailor reached Hungary with tracking in about two to three weeks, and a shipment from Huong Tailor Ben Thanh to Singapore took over a week and arrived with one pair of trousers missing.

Do not pay in full for anything that has to be shipped. At Tricia & Verona tailor, at least 20 reviews, most from August 2025 to August 2026, describe paying upfront for pieces to be sent abroad that never arrived. Try the garment on before you leave whenever you can, and ask who pays to send a piece back if it needs repairs: one 1-star review of Nhựt Tailor says the shop would not support that.
