At this level the stars barely separate one shop from another, so the number of reviews and what the recent ones say matter more. The largest are all in Hoi An: 45 Thu Tailor with more than 14,000 Google reviews, Ba Ri Tailor with more than 11,000 and BeBe Tailor with more than 7,000. Outside Hoi An, Duc Nhan Tailor in Hanoi is rated 4.9 from more than 1,500 reviews and Viet Thanh Silk in Saigon 5.0 from more than 1,200.

Some shops hold up under the detail too. All 90 most recent reviews of Mr. XE give five stars, and none of the 89 most recent reviews of Pink Lotus Tailor complains about fit, quality or pressure. Across the list, 165 of the 207 shops are described as low on sales pressure.
