Delivery can be quick, and some shops do it at no charge. Tailor Bros delivers to hotels at no charge, once within an hour of the final fitting. Hoàng Vân Silk dropped an order at a reviewer's hotel within 2 hours of the fitting, and at NGO GIA Tailor a change made within two hours went to the hotel that night. Juan's Tailor once hand-delivered a suit so the customer could make their flight.

A few shops send clothes on to your next stop. When an order at Anh Village Silk was not ready before a customer left Hanoi, the shop mailed it to their hotel in Saigon at no extra cost. Tailor Bros has delivered to a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and Dunnio by Duy Nguyen sent a safari jacket to a hotel in Nha Trang. Some come to you for the measuring too: at Royal Silk Shop Daisy visits hotels and Airbnbs to measure and to deliver, and Tam of Tơ Tằm Việt Tailor measured one traveler at his hotel and brought the suits back 48 hours later.

The catch is that a delivered piece skips the last try-on in the shop, and promises are not always kept. At HC Hien Cao one customer had a missed shirt sent on to Sapa at the shop's cost, but another says items promised to her hotel never arrived.
