About half the reviews of Blooming Tailor are about alterations and repairs described as invisible; ask for a quote on WhatsApp before you go.

Tailors that make clothes also take alteration work. Juan's Tailor alters clothes bought elsewhere, and Fit & Fashion Tailors does it as a paid service. If the piece was made by the shop, adjustments are usually part of the price: 22 of the 27 include them. Agree the price before you leave anything, even at the cheap places. At Nhà Sửa Chữa Y Phục Hòa one 2-star reviewer was quoted 2,000,000 VND to alter a skirt and had the same job done elsewhere for 100,000 VND, and two 1-star reviews there describe curt treatment. Uneven trouser hems come up in complaints at more than one shop, so put both legs on and check before paying. At An Tam Ladies Tailor, 5 of 60 reviews say the tailor was annoyed when asked to alter or fix a garment.
